Stressed, tired and angry Empty Stressed, tired and angry

Post by Rose Guardian 24th June 2011, 9:54 pm

Not sure if I should be telling everyone this but my uncle who lives me my mom and my grandma grandpa and my brother can be a real mean jerk sometimes. He tells me that I am selfish and that I only care about myself, which is very untrue. He really gets me mad and upset. I cannot kick him because he is my grandma's son. I cannot take him anymore. What should I probably do? He is making me very stressed out.

have you tried telling your mom? I mean no one has the right to insult you like that. I assume you're probably in highschool or something so you can't move out, but you should definitely tell some one in your family that you can't handle it anymore^^

Actually I am 24 years old and am in college but I can't move out because I don't have a job. I tried telling my mom and my grandma and they just get mad and yell at me.

I believe I have mentioned this before but I am 25 and I live with my mom and her boyfriend and he is an angry drunk. I mean stomping around threatening my pets with an axe angry (I live on a farm go figure). Anyway you could be in a worse situation. You could be a partial agoraphobe with a fear of conflict who cries every time someone yells, who is living with an angry drunk who calls you horrible names that I dare not repeat.

In a way you are in a better living situation than me.

@RoseReveries
I am actually trying to get a job, I live in Michigan so it is very hard to get hired just like anywhere else. Eventually when I get enough money from a job I will leave and hope he's gone when I come to visit my grandma, grandpa, mom and brother.

@Strawberrycat
I am very sorry to hear that. I feel bad for you. I don't know what might happen but hopefully your mom will realize what he is doing to you and will kick him out herself.
@NotteEterna
Thank you.

I love when members feel so cozy here on the site that they spill their guts.....I uhhh mean....I'm sooo sorry everyone...lots of people have issues.

@Strawberrycat
Take your mom outside while he is not there, and shake your mom, shake her like a crazy person and tell her the truth.

Rose G:
Same for you too!
but don't shake your grandma thats just wierd.....

Thank you light but that would be odd I mean we are living in 'his' house...we can't kick him out, but I can lock myself in my room with my pets and hope for the best.

...thankfully he doesn't drink often. He is one of those native Americans who can't drink (for obvious reasons). Bad bad firewater!

Oh I see I didn't even notice you where living in his home well....

But seriously they say if people don't want to hear stuff you need to get them away and talk to them in a place they can't leave....the shaking them is to get their attention

But I do hope it improves for you two I'm sure it will Smile

The shaking probably isnt needed as youll get their attention by pulling them to isolation...and it could make things worse, but I dunno it may work. gofor it Smile

Sorry for the late reply. I talked to my mom and grandma but they're not going to do anything about. On top of that one thing that really bothers me about my uncle is he is very mean to my brother but I cannot say or do anything about it or he'll be mean to me and him. So right now there is nothing I can do but hope to find a good paying job and move out.

I can't confront about anything he does to me and my brother or he will get mad.
Another thing that makes me very mad is he treats my mom, my grandpa, and my grandma with more respect than he does with me and my brother. Sometimes when he goes to get a sneak from Mcdonlads, Panera Bread or wherever to bring it home he asks everyone if they want anything except me or my brother which I think is very unfair. However I cannot say anything to him about it or he'll get mad. Also he pays for the internet and sometimes it goes out and I cannot get online and if my mom or grandma ask him to reset the wireless he does, but if I cannot get online and I ask him to reset it he completly ignores me and doesn't do it. Again if I say anything to him about he will just get mad. I really have no choice but to move out when I get a good paying job or go with mom and my brother when mom finds a house to live in.
