Insidious Review
Rated PG-13 For
Strong Horror Sequences
Scary Images
And Brief Strong Language
Well I recently watch this new movie from the makers of Paranormal Activity!
And I must say I did not sleep very well last night.
Usually scary movies and such don't bother me at all but for some reason this one struck a little bit of fear in me!
A screen from the movie yes it looks like darth maul, but trust me when you see it in the movie, it will terrify you.
An unusual third act may turn off some viewers, but ‘Insidious’ – James Wan and Leigh Whannell’s love letter to classic horror – delivers some of the most effective and spine-tingling scares you’re ever going to see.
Director James Wan and writer Leigh Whannell may be best known for kicking off the long-running (and phenomenally successful) Saw franchise, but the pair’s latest film is arguably their first attempt at pure horror. There’s no blood, no guts, and no devious death traps. Just a spooky old house, a collection of things that go bump in the dark, and a hell of a lot of jump scares.
And did I mention that Insidious is the scariest movie I’ve seen in years?
The story revolves around a family that moves into an old house and begins to suspect they are under siege from otherworldly forces when their young son inexplicably falls into a deep coma. As devoted parents Josh (Patrick Wilson) and Renai (Rose Byrne) struggle in vain to uncover the root cause of their son's condition, the stress of the situation gradually begins to take its toll on their once-strong relationship. Later, when darkness falls and specters appear to reach out for them from the shadows, the frightened parents realize they're dealing with powers beyond human comprehension.
I give this movie an 9/10
It is really worth watching!
More screenies
- Spoiler:
And a quick scene from the movie:
make sure to turn it up so you can hear what they say.
Watch the full HD version here it way better =.=

The way that the demon points in the video is so creepy! And you can hear the creaking of the bones when it moves. >.<
Thanks so much for the review! I wanted to buy the DVD but I didn't know if it was any good. I'll definitely watch this and Paranormal Activity.
